Bremont’s Supermarine Type 300 range received an update with the S302, a 40mm tool watch designed to look good while prizing functionality. A capable diver with a rotating bezel, screw-down crown and GMT function packs a ton of value into a sub-$5k pricetag.
 
The indices, filled with Bremont’s “P-51” Super LumiNova are complemented by a burnt-orange GMT hand which ticks around the dial to helpfully track a second timezone. While your iPhone “has an app for that”, your Bremont tells you what time it is somewhere significant with just a glance at the wrist. The S302 GMT makes it even easier with 24-hour markings on the rehaut to help with at-a-glance readings.
 
Few watches offer such a dynamic colorway while remaining versatile. The nato adds beige tone to the watch without making it feel old. The gray on the dial is not too bright or too dark, which seems to work well with chambrays, black, red, and even blue.
 
Further proof of Bremont’s quality in manufacturing can be spotted on the lugs, with a deep, polished chamfer contrasted by perpendicular brushing. The brand seems to showcase all their watchmaking talents in this one piece. The 3-piece construction uses hardened steel wrapped around a DLC-coated case barrel. It’s a truly gorgeous timepiece.
